Welcome to Merkies Apparel! We aren't much of writers but we thought we would give this whole blog thing a try. If you haven't hit up the "ABOUT" page already I think it is important that I let you know that we are not only skate wear or fitness wear company, but we are a lifestyle wear company. We are strong believers in turning your life into a lifestyle ("Don't rent your life. Own your life.") With that being said, you need a brand that can help you do so. This is where Merkies comes in. If you're not bored of our crappy writing yet, keep on reading and see where we started and what we're all about.
Alright, so Merkies was started by me (Devyn Merklin) and my roommate, Austin Pisacane out of our apartment here at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. We started it with a huge amount of inspiration from my cousin Sean "Poopies" who embodies the vision of owning your own lifestyle perfectly. It's been a year now since we have started and we are in a slightly nicer apartment here at UNCG and we still love what we're doing with this company. We are a couple of college students trying to open the eyes of individuals and help them find their own lifestyle.
